Feetbus
The Revolutionary FEETBUS takes street theatre to a new level of participation and spectacle! Inviting audiences aboard the bus, we take them into the realm of openness and play, while creating a magical spectacle for festival streets.
The Feetbus is six metres long and almost 2 metres wide. It surrounds 15 passengers in a wheel-less, engine-less festive transport vehicle. In each corner a member of our crew is strapped in to carry the weight, while the festive Transport Personal Care Assistant (FTPCA) helps people on and off the bus.
Using simple language, games and play we create a feeling of togetherness. Travelling through greater levels of interaction we extend the joy of our passengers out to the festival environment, transforming our environment into a surreal and playful space.
The FEETBUS is equipped with a microphone and speakers and internal lighting for night services. Our horn requires everyone to say "HONK" while breaking involves everyone shouting "STOP" loudly.
We can devise and improvise to suit your festival or event. The physical framework lends itself to themeing and branding.
FESTIVAL TRANSPORT SYSTEM
This is our simplest theme which allows us to cross language barriers easily. We provide a high level of customer service, similar to that of an airline. We engage the audience in many navigational manoeuvres, including turning, speeding, reversing, and the death-defying donut. People on board are encouraged to get to know each other and bond as a group. We map our performances to the environment we are in, playing with landmarks, cultural oddities, other performers and geographical features.

THE FUTURE OF TRAVEL
Environmentally aware, zero-emissions, bio-dynamic transport, this is the future of transport! The FEETBUS is a travelling reminder of the need to change the way we travel, work and play in order to overcome the impending environmental crises. Passengers are challenged to think about how we can change our ways and play games to practice our eco-friendly behaviour. This is a fun, engaging way to explore environmental issues and encourage people to participate and speak up in the process of change.
REVOLUTIONARY TRANSPORT
On this bus dictators have taken over. Elections are held for the best driver. The back wheels incite a revolution! The FEETBUS is a micro-state, subject to all the political problems of the human organisation. We encourage the voice of the people, the passengers, to decide where the bus will go. It's a chance to play with the rules, control and surrender, and to deal with serious issues in the silliest of ways.

Out come the creatures of the night. It's time to get cheeky and naughty and see how far our passengers are really willing to go. From the seductive and delicious to the unethical and disturbing, the FEETBUS take people to their limits and then a little further. Dissolving inhibition with affectionate games and changing reality with masks, treats and the unexpected.
